Ali runs the British 10k for Motor Neurone Disease Association
On Sunday 12th July Ali took part in the British 10k to raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. Ali became involved in raising money for MND when a close friend was diagnosed with the disease which leads to muscle wasting, loss of mobility and difficulties with swallowing and breathing.
Moved to raise some money for this charity Ali commenced training. With only two weeks to the event she had a set back to training when she developed achillies problems. Despite all this Ali ran the entire 10k raising over £600 in the process.
